5. Select “Auto Delete” to automatically remove the events that meet the
rules.
6. Click OK when done.
The created filter will immediately take effect on the list of events in the
Event Viewer panel and it will only show all the events that have met the
rules of the created filter.
To view the filtered events on a separated tab simply select and double-
click on a filter and it will open a separate tab showing the events that met
the rules of the selected filter.
MODIFY A FILTER To make any changes on any of the event Filters:
1. On the Filters panel, select and right-click on a filter and select “Modify
Filter” or select a filter on the Manage Filter wizard and select “Modify”
button.
2. Make the necessary changes on the filter and click OK.
DELETE A FILTER To delete a filter:
1. On the Filters panel, select and right-click on a filter and choose “Delete
Filter” or select a filter on the Manage Filter wizard and select “Delete”
button.
2. Click OK.
EXPORT EVENTS
The action “Export Events to File” allows you to save the current events
shown on the Event Viewer panel. You can choose to export the events as
an .html, .xls, or .cvs formats.
To export events, perform the following steps:
1. Click on the “Export Events to File” button.
2. Select the location where you wish to save the file.
3. Type the “File Name.”
4. Select the file type on the “Save as Type.”
5. Click Save.
