7. From the “Start From” field, select the number you want the suffix to
start with.

Scenario 1: You want to change the host name to Cisco 1, Cisco 2,
and so forth.
8. From the “Select no. of Copies” section, use the up and down arrow
keys to select the number of configuration files and devices to which
you want to generate and deploy the template.
9. Click Next. You will see the Generate and Deploy Configuration - View
Instances Created dialog box.

OTE
:
Depending on the number of copies you selected in the Select no. of
Copies field, you will see the same number of instances created.
Example: If you have selected five copies, you will see that five
instances of configuration files have been created and you have to
deploy the configuration files to five devices.
10. From the Select Devices section, select a range of IPs by entering the
IP address in the From and To fields OR,
11. From the Select Devices section, click the Devices button. You will see
the Devices Viewer dialog box.
12. From the Search by IP Address field enter the IP address of the device.
The selected IP address will appear in the pane below. Click the check
box , OR
13. Select the check box against the IP address of the device you wish to
deploy the template to from the list displayed in the pane and click OK.

OTE
:
The devices displayed in the pane are a list of devices that are
available on the network.
If you have selected a device that has not already been added to ECView
Pro Configuration, the device will now be added to ECView Pro
Configuration Manager.
Click the “Select All” or “Deselect All” buttons to select or deselect all the
devices listed in the pane.
14. Click Next. You will see the Generate and Deploy Configuration - Deploy
to Device dialog box.
15. From the Map the file to device field, use the up and down arrow keys
to map the Configuration file to the device you want it to be uploaded
to.
