7 EVENT VIEWER

The ECView Pro Platform includes the Event Viewer option that serves as a

central hub for all trap events, where it displays all the gathered device

traps, NMS events, and network events collected by the NMS built-in trap

receiver. These events are shown in the form of a tabulated window,

displaying the properties of each event.

Through the Preferences option (see “Preferences” on page 127), you can

limit the number of events shown in the Events panel.

Event Viewer has an effective Filtering feature that allows you to:

◆ Easily locate important events;

◆ Organize or group events according to your preferred category, and;

◆ Manage or sort all the displayed events in the Events panel.

Click Tools > Event Viewer to open the Event Viewer perspective.
