The ECS3600 Series switches are L3 Fast Ethernet products

which meet the requirements of security and intelligent networks

for education institutes, governments, carriers, enterprises, and

industries. Versatility is a key attribute; they can also be access

devices for large networks, as well as the distribution layer devices

for buildings, or core switches for small and medium networks.

ECS3600 Series Switches are an ideal workgroup layer 3 switch,

grouping users based on department, reducing traffic in separate

departments, while still routing unicast traffic between different

VLANs or subnets. Using IP Clustering for a virtual stack of up to

24 switches, the entire stack can be managed as a single logical

entity with a single IP address. This switch series provides enhanced

security and advanced QoS to the network edge, while maintaining

simplicity of management.


